The hospitalist track gives resident physicians and opportunity to further hone their inpatient medicine skills to prepare for a career with a hospital-based practice.

Residents do extra inpatient medicine blocks, including time with NCMC hospitalists.

Residents participate and present in the NCMC hospitalist journal club.

Several NCFM graduates are practicing hospitalists.
